ABOUT 100 people supported Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea at Cafetti, Cowaramup last Thursday.

The event was hosted by Deborah Earl, assisted by Deb Newland, Leonie Bell and Julie Hartley and other helpers.

A total of $7060 was raised from raffles, auction items and generous donations and guests in return enjoyed coffee and cake at Phil and Lorraine Green’s cafe.

About $5000 was raised on the day of the morning tea and a further $2000 via online donations and cash donations.

The organisers thank the businesses who donated and everyone who attended for their generosity.

Many other morning teas were held around the shire, including one at Lumen Christi Church, Augusta that raised $650 and Voyager Estate which raised $2640, including one $500 donation.
