School age children can catch the bus from the town bus stop to the Rivermouth at 8.30am, 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm for $1.

Return trips are scheduled at 9am, 11am, 2pm and 4pm.

The bus will make additional pick-ups and drop-offs along Wallcliffe Road.

Surfboards are welcome.

The Kidz Beach Bus is supported by Rotary and the sponsors of the annual Rotary Fun run.

“We want the bus to be a success this year so that it gives us grounds to push for the bus to be a fixture in future years,” Rotary’s Bill Ivory said.
