A 23-year-old local was airlifted to Perth on Saturday after a trail bike crash on private property near the Margaret River airstrip.
Constable Karen Efferille said the man was driving about 100kmph at 4.50pm when he hit a rut and cartwheeled.
He suffered a broken wrist, broken collarbone and possible back injury.
