Caitlin’s trophy voice

24 Jun, 2009 09:51 AM
SEVENTEEN-year-old Caitlin Rowe hopes to end up on Australian Idol one day.

Even if she doesn’t, she can be proud of her singing talent, having won a trophy at the WA Performing Arts Eisteddfod in Bunbury on June 11.

Caitlin entered the 16 and Under 18 Contemporary Vocal and Open Contemporary Vocal categories.

In the former she sang Cher’s Believe, and in the latter, Beautiful by Christina Aguilera.

She came first in her category for Beautiful, and second for Believe.

This is Caitlin’s fourth Eisteddfod, and she has been taking singing lessons for four years.

However, she has been singing all her life.
