THE extremely popular Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in Cowaramup is on again – with a theme this year of High Tea.
Held 9.30-12.30pm on Thursday, May 24 at the Cowaramup District Social Club, it will feature a delicious selection of goodies and an auction of artworks by local artists.
Neil Earl will auction off a painting by Karin Luciano titled Hope, an oil on board by Deanne Haddow called Sticky Sunset, and a work by Jenny Sanderson.
The funds raised from Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea help the Cancer Council to continue their work in cancer research, prevention, education and support services.
One in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, and in 2011, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea raised more than $11.2 million to fight this terrible disease.
In Cowaramup, all guests are invited to wear blue, and dress to impress.
Tickets are $40 each and are selling out fast.
