THE Edwards family of Edwards Wines recently handed over about $2500 to Deb Wilkins from the Leukaemia Foundation from their annual Australia Day family event.
Ms Wilkins, who is the Leukaemia Foundation’s WA regional community relationships officer, said the funds mean a lot to the organisation.
“It means we can continue to look after patients and families in regional WA and continue our service,” she said.
Ms Wilkins said support like this was vital to keep the Foundation’s service running.
“Families like the Edwards family are just amazing ... we really appreciate their support,” she said.
