GET your dancing shoes on and your glad rags out for the huge party that will be The Samara Jackman Fundraiser Cabaret, on Saturday, February 7.
Dance to the music of Doxy, cheer the belly dancers, admire the fashion parade and snap up a bargain at the silent auctions.
The fun starts at 6pm and a bus service leaves from the Fearn Avenue depot at 5.45pm, returning at 11.45pm.
Enjoy the delicious food and drinks, have a wonderful night out and support a good cause.
Organisers encourage all to confirm numbers by Monday, February 2 to Xanadu for catering and bus purposes.
Phone Xanadu on 9758 9500 to secure your ticket and/or bus seat.
Brave battle
Local girl Samara Jackman (3) has been doing “really great” after receiving chemotherapy for a Wilms tumour in her kidney.
Her mother Sue says Samara has finished 16 sessions of radiotherapy and been “good as gold”.
She is gaining weight and her hair has started regrowing, with hospital visits reduced to one every three weeks.
Mrs Jackman and husband Paul will attend the cabaret to fundraise for Samara on February 7 at Xanadu.
“We thank everyone so much for their past support and so far, it has been ongoing and amazing,” she said.
