THE Augusta Margaret River Veterinary Hospital will host the town’s third Million Paws Walk on Sunday, May 20, from 10am.
Entry is $10 and all proceeds go to the RSPCA. The walk is about 4km, and all dogs must be on leads.
You can register in person at the Vet Hospital at 47 Station Road, online at www.milllionpawswalk.com.au, or on the day from 9.30am.
The Augusta-Margaret River community raised nearly $2000 last year, with 153 pets registered for attendance. The goal this year is to double those figures. This year’s event includes the fundraising walk, a sausage sizzle, raffles with great prizes, hot/cold drinks, dog washing, merchandise and more.
For details phone the Augusta Margaret River Veterinary Hospital on 9757 2163 or visit www.millionpawswalk.com.au. Donations from local businesses will be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the Station Road Clinic, or collected by arrangement.
