THE Berry Farm hosted Ambrose 4s on Sunday with a great field of 78 players participating in the day in fine golfing weather.

The winners on the day were the combination of Harry Morgan, Sue and Sam Bloxam and Mick O’Hara with 55 1/4 winning on a countback from Jon Marshall, Zac Fagan, Jason Solonec and Tim Whologan 55 1/4.

Third were Marg Scott, Mike O’Connor, John French and Julie Campbell with 55 5/8.

Novelties went to Jeff Hedstrom, Julie Campbell, Mike O’Connor, Deb Legge, Richard Catchpole, Marg Scott, Harry Morgan and Sue Bloxam.

Wednesday Women’s Stableford competition was sponsored by Val Wyld and Irene Seaton.

Mandy Farrell shot 40 points to win A Grade with Rhonda Hearn runner-up with 37 points and Barb Webster third with 36.

Libby Dawson won A Grade with 36 points with Bernadette Campbell runner-up with 34 on a countback from Tiny Bell.

Sue Bloxam won the Gross with 27.

Novelties went to Sue Bloxam, Libby Dawson, Rhonda Hearn, Julie Campbell, Joan Garstone and Tiny Bell.

Phyllis Harper and Barbara Webster both had birdies.

Steve Pease and Mark Worth sponsored Thursday’s Scroungers which saw Rob Dewar shoot 46 points to win the day.

Jon Farrell was runner-up with 41 with Matt O’Connell third with 40.

Rod Bedford won the Gross with 31.

Novelties went to Tony Byrne, Mal Gray, Vince Home, Dave Goodall, Laurie Bedford, Tony Foy, Adrian Castle, Jon Beales and Dave Noske.

Atomic Computers sponsored Saturday’s competition.

Jason Solonec had a huge 46 points to blitz the field and win the day.

Runner-up was Harry Morgan with 41 points and third was Dean Taylor 40 on a countback from Jon Marshal.

Dean also won the Gross with 32.

Novelties went to Jon Marshall, Peter Boyanich, Ray Scott, Dean Taylor, Graham Farrell, Harry Morgan, Steve Owen, Richard Catchpole, Preston House and John O’Connor.

Veterans played Ambrose 2s on Tuesday which saw Mike Lawson and Mike Croxford the winners with 32 3/8.

Mike O’Connor and Al Forward were runners-up with 32 5/8.

Novelties went to Mike O’Connor, Bob Imray, Mike Croxford and Laurie Bedford.
