EIGHT hard-core players braved the extreme conditions once again.
With fewer players on the field the boys were able to get a lot more action.
Playing for Red were Callum, Angus, Sam and Jake.
The boys fought hard for possession and worked well as a team.
Callum demonstrated great handball skills as he passed to his team mates.
One pass to Sam allowed him to kick it down in to the forward line.
Angus retrieved the ball, and kicked it on to Sam again who kicked a great goal for Red.
Sam marked the ball deep in defence and passed to Jake who with a strong kick scored another point for Red.
Jake got slammed down in defence but managed to recover quickly.
The Blue team Kade, Harry, Flynn and Kobi played hard in the strong winds.
Kobi played well in defence by smothering the ball kicked by Angus and then Callum.
With a quick pick up he kicked the ball into the forward line.
Harry did an excellent kick to Kade who marked it and then with a massive kick scored a goal for Blue–great pass Harry.
Kade also went hard with a great smother against Callum and got hit in the nose.
He made a super quick recovery.
Flynn gained the ball in defence and did a great kick down to the forward line, allowing Blue to score another goal.
Kobi endured tough defence by Angus and managed to dodge his way around him and kick a goal for Blue.
Overall it was a great game and the boys are clearly showing improvement in their skills.
Thanks to coach Gary and all the helpful dads and mums.
