TODAY our Mum and Dad took us to the beach for a run and swim.
It was a bit windy on our bit of the beach but we had fun swimming and chasing with the six other friends who were there with their mums and dads.
There were another two lots of people there but they didn’t have any of our friends with them.
We didn’t mind sharing our bit of the beach with them though.
We walked along the sand towards a place Mum and Dad call Gnarabup, where it was not very windy, and people who do not like us, and our friends, can go for a swim.
At the end of our bit of the beach we could only see another three lots of people there and they did not have any of our friends.
It is like that most days when we go for a swim.
It wasn’t a very long walk because Mum and Dad said we weren’t allowed to go there as the other people didn’t want to share their beach with us.
When we got back from our walk we went for a swim with Mum and Dad.
It was lovely because we are not very big and the waves were small.
After we had a swim we went for another walk the other way along the beach.
There was nobody else on that bit of the beach because the waves were big and it did not look very safe for us to swim in.
Please Shire councillors, don’t take our swimming beach away from us.
If some people don’t want share our beach with us they can swim at their own beach.
Woof woof.
PS, as we can’t write we had to get our dad, Mike Pedrick, to write this for us.
He told us that there is about 70km of coast on the west side of the shire of which we have only 500m to share with our friends.
