SARACEN Estates performed well in the recent Winestate's Best of Western Australia 2012 Awards, with its 2009 Sparkling Maree, Methode Traditionnelle, winning Top of Category.
Its 2009 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon also achieved 5 out of 5 stars.
Wines were judged blind by a panel of expert judges in their varietal category.
Both the 2009 Sparkling Maree and the 2009 Reserve Cabernet are now shortlisted for the Wine of the Year Aust ralia & NZ finals for 2013.
In addition to the Best of the West Award 2012, the 2009 Sparkling Maree has achieved a Blue Gold Medal at the Sydney Intern ational Wine Show 2012 and a Gold Medal at the Winewise Small Vignerons Awards 2012.
