BUSSELTON Detectives are investigating an assault and abduction of a 20 year old man in Margaret River on Saturday night.

The man had just left a business premises in Ned Higgins Lane, Margaret River, at about 5.30pm and was walking to his car when he was set upon by four men and assaulted.
He was then tied up and put into his own vehicle before being driven three to four kilometres north of town where he was assaulted again.
The offenders then left him and his vehicle there and drove off in another vehicle, taking the victims keys with them.
The man made his way to Bussell Highway where he was found by a passing motorist and then taken to Margaret River Hospital for treatment.
He suffered numerous fractures and severe bruising to his head and body.
One of the offenders is described as being a white male with short ginger hair, wearing board shorts or similar. The others were all wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
The victim’s vehicle is a silver Commodore sedan and the offenders were driving a white VT model (1999/2000) Commodore sedan.
