FRIENDS and family of Margaret River surfer and shark attack victim Chris Boyd have been paying their tributes via social media today.
The heartfelt messages on Facebook remember 'Boydy' as a best friend, fellow boardrider, brother and - for his partner Krystle Westwood -"soul mate".
For some, the tragedy appears to have brought on an overwhelming sense of shock and disbelief.
Chris Boyd, 35, was the victim of a fatal shark attack on Saturday in Gracetown.
