GALLERY: Bands amp up atmosphere at Margaret River high school

Relaxing on the grass, parents and friends enjoyed the music from afar, until the children split into groups and made their way into the crowd for special “busking” shows.

There were a bunch of catchy cover songs showcased on the night, including Outkast’s Hey Ya and Coldplay’s Yellow, as well as a few originals by student bands.

Indie-rock outfit Project Eden wrapped up the night with The Hives’ Because I Wanna.

Parents were also treated to wood fired pizza made by the high school.
