A 29-year-old Dalyellup man was charged after a reckless driving incident with a motorcycle on Friday night.
Just before midnight police saw a motorcycle travelling south on Bussell Highway, Margaret River.
It is alleged the rider accelarated away from police causing the motorcycle to ride on its back wheels for approximately 50 metres.
Police patrolled the area and sighted the motorcycle travelling south on Townview Terrace where police stopped the motorcycle before seizing it.
The rider was charged with having a blood alcohol reading in excess of 0.08 and reckless driving with aggravated circumstances of failing to stop.
He is due to appear in court on April 28.
