Another triple for Augusta-Margaret River Hawks

TRIPLE wins, for the second week in a row, away against bottom-of-ladders Donnybrook moved Augusta-Margaret River Hawks’ League and Colts teams up to join the Reserves in sixth position on the South West Football League ladders.

Each Hawks team has four wins and four losses from eight rounds, with the League team two wins behind a four-way battle for top spot, and the Reserves and Colts still in touch with Collie Eagles, heading both their ladders.

The third quarter was also very competitive between half-back lines, with Ben Gerrans kicking the only goal to give Hawks a 29-point lead going into the final term. The battle to the final siren was mostly even, Hawks added three goals to Dons’ two to win by 38 points.
