It is a family affair at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on Friday with Adelaide siblings Alex and Annette Edmondson both riding off for gold medals in their individual pursuit events.
In what could be an unforgettable double act on the Glasgow cycling track 20-year-old Alex and Annette, 22, wound up second in their qualifying, careering them into gold-medal showdowns on the second afternoon of finals at the Commonwealth Games.
After winning two gold medals on the opening day, Australia are assured of at least another with world champion Alex to face compatriot and world record holder Jack Bobridge in the ride-off for gold in the men's 4000 metres IP.
And there could be more as Annette suits up against England's world champion Joanna Rowswell in the women's 3000m IP final and Peter Lewis heads into the semi-finals of the men's sprint.
Another Australian, Amy Cure, will ride for bronze in the IP after finishing third in qualifying, and Paul Kennedy and Thomas Clarke, and Kieran Modra and Jason Niblett will contest the men's para cycling 1000m time trial.
Annette Edmondson reached the last two with a qualifying time of 3.30.728 but will face stiff opposition in the form of Rowsell, who steamed home in Commonwealth Games record of 3.29.038.
Rowsell, a team pursuit gold medallist at the London Olympics, was in the last heat and trailed the splits of Edmondson and Cure (3.31.543) midway through her ride, but with a heavier gear produced a scorching finish.
Cure, the 25km points race world champion, had to settle for third and will take on Scotland's Katie Archibald for bronze later on Friday.
Edmondson's younger brother, a gold medallist in the team pursuit on Thursday, could have a second of the Games after being second to Bobridge (4.19.211) in a qualifying time of 4.20.853).
In the men's sprint Lewis won his quarter-final 2-0 over over Matthew Archibald of New Zealand and with medals to be decided on Friday night is in the last four alongside two more Kiwis, Sam Webster and Ed Dawkins, and England's Jason Kenny.
But Matthew Glaetzer, who set a new Commonwealth Games record in qualifying on Thursday is out after being out-foxed 2-0 in his quarter-final by triple Olympic champion Kenny.
