MARGARET River's roller derby team the Cabernet Savages hope to showcase the sport to new faces on Saturday at their third home bout.
Taking on Perth's Dread Pirate Rollers at the Margaret River Recreation Centre, the team will be determined to test their strength, if only to gain confidence for the Boom State Clash in Sept ember.
Team captain Danielle Parish, aka Dani Hellraiser, invited all spectators to support the club.
"It's a great night of entertainment for the whole family, whether you're interested in roller derby or not," she said.
Doors will open 6pm, allowing guests to enjoy the licensed bar before the girls roll at 6.30pm.
Aerial silks will be provided as entertainment at half time.
Tickets are $10, available from the Recreation Centre or at trybooking.com/FHZS.
People are also encouraged to bring a gold coin donation for the South West Autism Network.
Proving the growing popularity of roller derby, the local club currently boasts a total of 40 members, a big step up from the initial group of seven in 2010.
