IT has been quite a journey, but Margaret River Farmers' Market has finally arrived at the place it plans to call home for at least the next two years.
This Saturday will be the first market in the grounds of Margaret River TAFE campus, taking over a vast lawn area which until now has seen very little use.
"It's just a fantastic space for families to come, bring a ball and spend the morning," juice stall operator Michaela Langeder said.
Ms Langeder joined fellow stallholders to help market organiser Katrina Lombardo finally unpack the trailer they have relied upon to cart the market's essentials during months of upheaval and uncertainty.
Ms Lombardo said she had been overwhelmed with the generosity of local firm Trade Hire, which had offered the trailer and power infrastructure free of charge throughout the transitional period, saving the Margaret River Regional Producers Association thousands of dollars.
The group left its base at the Community Resource Centre in Tunbridge Street earlier this year after struggling to reach agreement with the centre's management regarding the market's operation there.
While negotiating a long term deal with TAFE, the Farmers Market operated successfully outside the Augusta Margaret River Shire Offices.
The market has a two year lease agreement and further two-year option with TAFE.
