St George police have charged two men after allegedly finding methyl amphetamine (ICE), cannabis and cash after searching a car at Riverwood.
Police saw a car stopped in a No Stopping zone about 2.15pm Tuesday on Thurlow Street.
They allege they saw a man, 20, sitting in the front passenger’s seat, chopping cannabis on a P-plate on his lap.
Police searched the driver, 19, and found 4.3 grams of methyl amphetamine (ICE) and a small amount of cannabis.
They also seized cash and mobile phones from the vehicle.
They took the men to Kogarah police station where the 19-year-old was charged with supplying a prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime. The older man was charged with possessing a prohibited drug.
Both were granted conditional bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Thursday September 11, 2014.
