WHILE some people release an autobiography to note their lives, Margaret River musician Wade du Boulay prefers to sing.
His latest EP, Time and Tide, is a reflection of the last seven years of his life, worked into an art form together with his folk/blues sound.
“Each song represents different events, moments and situations,” du Boulay said. “As the EP title suggests, it's about the up and downs, changes and cycles of life.”
The opening title track is more lyrically abstract, as the words formed themselves and du Boulay decided not to edit them as they took shape.
People keen to hear the local muso’s songs are invited to the EP launch at the Knights Inn, Margaret River on Thursday, October 2.
Performing live from 5.30pm, du Boulay will be supported by James Bosley of Perth as well as Weathered Skeletons of Geraldton.
Entry is free.
