DRIVING to work yesterday I was listening to the radio and people were being asked what they found particularly attractive in a man.
As someone who is pretty happy when the blokes in her life are conscious and have a pulse, I was curious to hear what people would say.
“Good abs,” was a common response, as was “strong arms”.
Another woman, who may or may not have some ‘issues’, said she liked a man with a well-trained dog because she found “dominance” a desirable feature.
I found it best not to think about that one too much – Fifty Shades of Greyhound, anyone?
One woman said she found it attractive when a man held a baby because it showed her he would be a good father – one presumably with enough hand-eye coordination to – oh my gosh – HOLD A BABY.
Perhaps it hadn’t occurred to her that if a man is holding a baby, the odds are high it is his, and he is therefore off the market.
The odds are equally high said baby is a minute or two away from filling its nappy with something decidedly unattractive, so I’m not sure what the turn-on is there.
Among the buff bodies and tanned torsos, there were plenty of women who found home handymen hot.
On this one I had to agree.
There is nothing that thrills me more than a man doing odd jobs around the house.
And if he can hang pictures and change a car tyre without me having to see his butt-crack – even better.
But what I would really love is someone to do the dishes, hang the washing out, train the dog and hold the baby while posing for a GQ cover shot all at the same time.
I told you I wasn’t fussy when it came to men.
As long as they’re breathing…
