CHOICE Hotels have sent one of their general managers to Margaret River as a part of their second annual Head Office to Front Office campaign for national customer service week.
The hotel franchiser will be sending their corporate team to spend a day performing the duties of a hotel operator.
Choice Hotels Australasia distribution and revenue general manager Aileen Cobern visited the Quality Inn Margaret River as part of the initiative.
Ms Cobern participated on Tuesday by offering her services to the Margaret River team in an eight hour shift working in areas such as kitchen, front office, restaurant and house keeping.
“Last year’s Head Office to Front Office initiative was embraced by all staff members across the business and we’re delighted to announce its return again this year,” Choice Hotels Australasia’s chief executive officer Trent Fraser said.
“Whether it’s working the front desk, lending a hand to housekeeping or taking orders from the bar, office based staff have been keen to get involved and get their hands dirty.”
The initiative will provide more than 60 corporate staff with the opportunity to work hands on in more than 40 hotels across the nation.
