Three piece riff rocker outfit Dallas Frasca are heading to Settlers Tavern to introduce their brand new single You are Beautiful to the Margaret River crowd.
Described as explosive, the band’s newest single highlights body image issues and how it is perceived in society and through the media.
With the accompanying video released yesterday, Dallas Frasca aspires to promote acceptance of human bodies in their natural form.
“You will see the diversity in the people who believe in the message and are in the clip,” the group said.
“We all got our kit off for the cause and we hope this song will inspire people to be more aware of what they are reading and to feel beautiful the way they are.”
Dallas Frasca will be releasing their album Love Army early next year.
Until then they plan on touring Australia, with Margaret River at the top of the list.
Dallas Frasca will play Settlers Tavern on November 1 and entry is free.
Following the group on November 2, for a relaxed Sunday session, Rory Faithfield will be taking to the stage.
Performing solo with harmonicas, a loop station, an acoustic guitar and his stories, Faithfield is well known for his audience interaction.
Of his own work, Faithfield said that along with his original songs he will be playing a variety of well known Australian and international favourites from groups like the Drive by Truckers, Steve Winwood, The Saints and Roger Whitaker.
Faithfield will be playing at Settlers Tavern on November 2 from 3pm.
