OLYMPIC water athletes will share their secrets and skills with up to 80 young people at a free clinic in Margaret River this month.
Featuring swimmers Eamon Sullivan and Adam Lucas and water polo players Bec Rippon and Mel Rippon, the BHP Billiton Aquatic Super Series clinic is open to anyone aged between eight and 17 who can swim above level six standard.
Augusta-Margaret River Shire recreation services manager Dylan Brown said it was a great opportunity to learn new skills and have fun with sports.
“Last year’s clinics were booked out less than a week after we opened registrations,” Mr Brown said.
“Participants will be able to have their photo taken with the Olympians and get an autograph or two.
“It’s a great way of encouraging local young people to get involved in sports and lead active and healthy lifestyles.”
The clinic will be held at the Margaret River Recreation Centre on Thursday, November 13, 4pm-5.30pm.
