The country's biggest gas transporter APA Group has sealed its largest acquisition, agreeing to pay $US5 billion ($6 billion) for the recently built pipeline in BG Group's liquefied natural gas project in Queensland and buying its way into the growth LNG export sector in eastern Australia.
