A BOUTIQUE market has its eye fixed on the New Year in Margaret River, landing right next to the Tiger Moth plane at Edwards Wines.
Margaret River Boutique Extravaganza will create a weekend of appreciation for all things beautiful in the Margaret River Region.
Event organiser Khadine Campany said she was excited by the concept of the markets in the community.
“It’s a fantastic way for small businesses in a particular area to support each other by coming together as a group to display our wares, take advantage of some beautiful spots around the region and hopefully provide a lot of fun and interest for visitors and local residents who may not otherwise get a chance to see what we do,” Mrs Campany said.
“This is my first event in the region and the support has been huge,
“To be able to rely on that support and give back by providing a beautiful festival atmosphere at Edwards Wines for their visitors is indicative of how well the Margaret River Region nurtures its creatives and entrepreneurs.”
With more than 30 stalls featuring fine food, gifts, home accessories, fashion, designer baby goods, beauty goods and local produce, the Extravaganza allows locals to appreciate all the finer things in the region before popping down to the cellar door.
Also on offer over the weekend will be a mini gourmet section, vegan and gluten free treats and scenic coastal helicopter joy flights with Wild Blue Helicopters.
“I’m hoping it will be a launch pad or a runway if you will, for local business and online retailers who pride themselves on presenting unique goods to their South West customers,” Mrs Campany said.
“I can’t wait to see what pops up.”
The Margaret River Boutique Extravaganza will run from January 2.
