POLICE reported all was well for Australia Day in Augusta-Margaret River with no incidents among the celebrations.
Margaret River Police Sergeant Brett Cassidy said there were no issues on the road despite police conducting random breath tests.
Augusta Police Sergeant Rik Lok said his town had simply been a quiet paradise for the occasion.
"It's Chillville," he said.
Meanwhile, WA Police media reported that 87 people were charged across the rest of the state with a total of 112 offences including assault, liquor infringements and drug offences.
But Commander Jon Tuttle said "Australia Day 2015 passed without significant incident and the large crowds were well behaved and appeared to have enjoyed the various events around Western Australia".
He thanked all police officers for their contributions to the day.
