A PLAYGROUP run by families for families is hosting their first open day.
The Margaret River Playgroup invites parents and children to come along and experience the playgroup for a taster morning to see if they wish to become involved in the non for profit community group.
“We believe it is a great place for young children to play, enabling them to develop their social skills and make new friends,” organiser Rosemary Campbell said.
“It is also the perfect place for parents to support themselves with a supportive network of friendly faces.”
Ms Campbell hopes a number of people will come along and become involved from 9.30 to 11am on February 9.
The centre runs three play group sessions each week on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9.30 to 11am with the first two group sessions free.
New members are always welcome.
The Margaret River Playgroup can be located near the Margaret River Community Resource Centre on the corner of Turnbridge and Farrelly Streets.
