Eighty homes across Perth remain without power after lightning storms caused widespread blackouts on Thursday.
About 30,000 Western Power customers were without electricity at some stage of Thursday.
Early on Friday, 570 customers were still waiting for their supply to be restored.
But Western Power spokesman said at 10.30am Friday that power had been restored to all but 80 homes in Sorrento.
Western Power's head of field operations, Brad Lacey, said crews were continuing to work to return power to the remaining homes.
"Technical crews are carrying out significant works this morning to replace an electricity transformer that was damaged during the lightning storm in Sorrento, before we can safely restore power to the those remaining customers," he said.
"We would like to thank our customers for their understanding while our crews safely completed hundreds of network repairs."
A Western Power spokesman said people without power could expect to have their electricity restored today.
