UPDATE: About 30 firefighters fought a blaze that came within 200m of Leeming Senior High School on Friday afternoon.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the fire had been burning west of the Aulberry Parade school, but was now extinguished.

A bushfire advice had been issued for people living in the western part of Leeming in the City of Melville.
A Department of Education spokeswoman said students were moved to an area of the school safely away from the fire during the emergency, which occurred during their lunch break.
Meanwhile, east of Perth more than 30 firefighters are battling to put out a blaze in Cannington.
The fire started just before midday near the intersection of Hamilton and Sevenoaks Streets and is burning in bushland between Hamilton Street and Mills Street.
DFES said the fire was stationary but people in the area needed to stay alert and monitor their surroundings.
A number of roads are closed including Hamilton Street between Sevenoaks Street and Channon Street.
