EMERGENCY crews were called to Wanjeep Drive on Thursday afternoon following a serious crash.
The accident happened about 12.30pm and involved a single vehicle.
Witnesses saw the white Hyundai just before it hit a tree. At this stage it is not clear what caused thecrash.
Firefighters used the jaws of life to cut the doors and roof off the car before the two occupants were treated at the scene by ambulance officers.
The male and female victims are expected to be taken to Peel Health Campus with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are under way.
