THE Collie Eagles league side are still to notch their first win of season 2015 after defeat at the hands of Carey Park in wet conditions on Sunday.
At the first change the Eagles were just two points behind but a goalless second quarter saw the home side trailing by 20 points at half-time.
As the rain came down in the third quarter, the Panthers clicked away to lead by seven goals at the final change.
The Eagles fought out the match until the end but went down 12.7.79 to 5.11.41.
Liam Stewart, Aaron Hill, Dylan Garlett and Matt Martin all contributed two goals for the Panthers while Kieran King, Viv Blurton, Brayden Mann and Trent Murdoch scored one.
For the Eagles, Matt Michael slotted two goals while Adam Bignell, Jay Abbott and Jayce Fontana each scored one.
The Eagles' reserves almost stole the four points going down 5.3.33 to 5.7.37 while the colts boys have some work to do losing 27.17.179 to 8.6.54.
This week the Collie Eagles travel to Bunbury to take on the Eaton Boomers.
