Justice has finally caught up with an alleged rapist.
A Melville man has been charged with the rape of an 18-year-old girl almost 30 years ago.
Police allege the teenage girl was visiting the accused 59-year-old man in January 1987, when she was sexually assaulted.
The man, who was 30 at the time, has been charged with sexual assault.
He is due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court on June 30.
