A 30-year-old man will appear in Bunbury Magistrates Court on Monday charged with a series of frauds in the Margaret River, Busselton and Esperance areas.
The man was arrested on Saturday, June 20 following a tip-off to Crime Stoppers.
The arrest follows several frauds in the region which saw a man ask for money to call the RAC as he locked his belongings in a car.
He promises to return the money but, after being handed cash, is never heard from again.
Contact details provided by the offender turned out to be false.
A Margaret River woman fell victim to one of the scams losing $140 on June 16.
Several similar frauds were conducted in Busselton days later which saw two ladies be taken for more than $300.
Police allege the man is responsible for all the scams.
One scam occurred in Abbey on Wednesday with the other one day later where an op-shop attendant was conned.
Each scam unfolded the same way with the conman asking for money to call the RAC as he had locked himself out his car.
