Shark sightings at Prevelly
Surf Life Saving WA have reported two shark sightings within half an hour at Preverlly.
The first report was of a 2.5 meter shark spotted off Kilcarnup beach, north of Prevelly.
The shark species is unknown at this stage but reports stated the shark was spotted approximately 50 meters off shore.
A few minutes later another report came through of 2.5 meter shark spotted only 2 meters off Redgate beach.
There has been no confirmation as to whether it is the same shark or two separate sightings.
Swimmers and surfers should remain vigilant.
The reports came via twitter at 10:29am and 10.51am.
