MARGARET River Bowling Club members have competed in two championship events over the past fortnight, the women's pairs and the mixed pairs.
Six pairs competed in the women's championships held over three days.

Mary Bussell and Shirley Coffey won through to be declared the pairs champions while Jenny Campbell and Dale McGregor were second.
On Sunday morning, 20 players braved the damp weather conditions to compete in the mixed pairs championship event.
Mark Langton and Nerolie Evershed had an impressive day winning all four of their games with thirty seven points up.
Leith Bussell and Ronlea Chick were runners up, also winning all four games with sixteen points up.
The Margaret River men's pennant teams are currently in first position on the ladder. On Saturday, division one gained five points against the home team, Augusta.
Second division played at home and defeated Dunsborough, gaining four points.
Last week' s winners of the corporate bowls competition were 4 Play with Bitsas in second place.
Friday's mixed pairs was won by John Chadwick and Colin Smith.
