A man has been airlifted to Bunbury Regional Hospital after an incident at Rivermouth in Margaret River on Friday morning.
The man suffered an injury to his leg and the RAC Rescue Helicopter was called to transport him to hospital, after DFES workers assisted St John Ambulance officers in transporting the man from the beach.
Warnings are in place for the South West coastline with massive swells and dangerous conditions expected across the weekend.
Residents are urged to secure dangerous materials, prepare for flooding and trim dangerous trees and branches ahead of Saturday’s expected wild weather.
Beachgoers are asked to heed warnings and remain out of the water if conditions are unsafe.
