Police have retrieved a human arm as part of their search for two fishermen missing off the coast of Coral Bay.
The arm was located on the sea floor near Bill's Bay on Tuesday by divers on a charter vessel.
"It will undergo forensic examination and it may take several days for results," a police spokeswoman said.
Boat hull debris found earlier on Tuesday during the search for Andy Hinds, 57, and Nigel Kitchen, 50, is not from the men's vessel, police have confirmed.
The search for the men will enter its third day on Wednesday morning after the pair went fishing for mackerel on the reef around 10am on Sunday morning and failed to return to camp that evening.
Police on Monday found numerous items from the eight-metre boat including an eski.
Around 1000 square kilometres have been scoured during the land, air and sea search.
The pair's boat trailer and vehicle are still parked at the boat ramp at Monk Head.
Nine News Perth reporter Rebecca Johns told Radio 6PR on Monday afternoon the community and campers were pulling together to try and find the men.
"Locals said the conditions were the worst they'd seen in years [on Sunday] and the swell reached up to 4.5 metres," she said.
Mangles Bay Fishing Club President Dan Andersen on Monday was hopeful the two men were still alive.
"I don't want to think about the worst, I won't to think about the best," he told Nine News.
"That close to the shore, they could be sitting on the beach somewhere and could've been missed. They know the ocean - they know it very well.
"They know their survival skills and if there is any hope they will be alive somewhere."
