The Margaret River Montessori School was a hive of scientific activity last week at the school’s Science Day. Students used knowledge gained during the term to provide demonstrations to classmates.

Lots of laughs occurred when experiments went awry, but the resilient kids pressed on until they saw results.
Students were required to explain their experiments and the science behind the results to other students of all ages.
The expo-style science fair had groups of students moving between stands scattered around the school campus.

Some of the experiments required a steady hand, and were safer outdoors thanks to some spectacular chemical reactions.
