A charity bicycle ride between Margaret River and Augusta this week will see a group of riders pushing the pedals to support the Ronald McDonald House Ride for Sick Kids.
The annual event is held around the country in various cities and regional centres and organisers are asking drivers to be aware of the group on the road.
“In previous years there have been instances of drivers getting quite angry at the cyclists, and we do want to remind people that they are riding for charity and helping sick kids by completing the ride,” an event spokeperson said.
Cyclists will travel between Margaret River and Augusta today and tomorrow before heading to Bunker Bay and on to Mandurah.
