The 31st Yallingup Malibu Classic was held over the weekend which saw surfers from across WA descend upon the South West to take part in the annual event.
The Indian Ocean Longboard Club committee members said it was a great competition with the best lineup of competitors they had seen in 10 years.
The highlight of the weekend came from Justin Redman who won the open competition for the 11th time and accepted his win with a heartfelt speech showing much love for the competition.
Claire Finucane took out the women’s Malibu competition ahead of Georgia Young in second place and Denver Young in third.
In the team competition, the Frothsters were too good and topped the ladder ahead of the Joy Boys in second position and Arrrh in third spot.
In the juniour longboard riders Jacob McIvor came in first place ahead of Chelsea Bedford in second and Benjamin Maxwell in third.
