A furious alleged victim of Rolf Harris' wandering hands 40 years ago has challenged him in court to admit his guilt and apologise to everyone he has attacked.
The blind, disabled woman gave evidence partly by pre-recorded video and partly in court, from her wheelchair. She was 27 when the attack occurred, in September 1977.
She said Harris had been "like a hawk pouncing on his prey", groping her breast and buttocks from behind while pinning her in place and slobbering down her neck.
Her angry outburst came after defence counsel Stephen Vullo QC asked if she was after compensation money and preying on Harris' reputation, "[Harris] having been ruined, you look at him as someone very easy to make an accusation against".
"Sir, I promise you I am not that sort of person," the woman replied indignantly. "I would not want to harm Mr Harris' reputation because Mr Harris has done it to himself. He has himself to blame and what I wish he would do is apologise to all his victims, me being one of them."
Harris watched her evidence over a video link from Stafford prison, sometimes sitting open-mouthed, other times resting his head on his hands.
In the police interview, which was recorded in July 2014 and played to the jury in Southwark Crown Court on Monday, the woman said she had been sitting in a room in Moorfields Eye Hospital when Rolf Harris came in.
He came over and said "has anyone told you what a good looking woman you are", and she put her hand out to shake hands.
"He went 'oh I can't be doing with all that, and within seconds he was behind me," the woman said.
He started kissing the back of her neck and she could "feel the hot air from his nostrils coming down my neck – he was obviously getting more excited by what he's doing by the rapidity of his breathing" she said.
"I can feel his beard tickling the back of my neck and he's saying 'oh you are gorgeous you are a lovely woman' and he starts slobbering all over me."
She told him to "get off" but instead he told her she was lovely, ran a hand down her back and down the back of her skirt and the other hand under her buttocks "and he's feeling all around".
"I've never met anyone who could spread their hands over your body so quickly," she said.
She complained again but he said "well I'm just a touchy feely sort of a bloke", she said. "I can't push the chair back because his bodyweight is leaning forward onto me so I can't move."
He then took off her glasses and began fondling her breasts. In the end she prised his fingers off forcefully and shouted at him to leave her alone.
Another man who was in the room heard her shout and came over to see what was going on, she said.
During the police interview in 2014 the interviewer left the room temporarily and the woman turned to her carer, crying. She said "I hope they know I'm genuine… you feel such a fool don't you".
In cross examination Mr Vullo asked why a recording made shortly after the alleged attack showed the woman and Harris laughing and singing together.
The woman said that after the attack "I was extremely shaken up and quivery and I felt a bit like crying" but because of her disabilities she had "always had to stuff my feelings away".
"I know how it would seem (for her to be laughing with her attacker) but I assure you it happened," she said. "When you see Rolf as he is there, you would never believe it's the same person. That's what's so sad. He has so much to give and he's wasted it all."
She did not tell police at the time because she did not think they would believe her, she said.
Mr Vullo also queried how the other man present in the room could possibly not have noticed what was going on.
And he questioned her closely about her financial difficulties.
Asked by prosecutor Jonathan Rees QC if she had fabricated her allegation in the hope of getting some of Rolf Harris' money, the woman replied "certainly not sir, I swear by My Lord I would never do such a thing."
Harris, 86, has pleaded not guilty to eight charges over a string of sexual assaults over alleged over more than three decades..
The jury has heard that Harris assaulted girls aged 12, 13, 14 and 16, and three adult women including the blind woman.
The trial at Southwark Crown Court continues.
