A trail bike rider is in hospital with serious injuries after crashing his unlicensed motorcycle into a parked caravan in Baldivis on Saturday morning.
Police say the crash occurred at approximately 8:35am on Beckingham Parkway near Wall Way when the rider of the Yamaha trail bike drove on the wrong side of the road and veered out of the way of an oncoming vehicle.
Police say the rider attempted to get back to the correct side of the road but lost control of the motorcycle, crashing into a caravan parked in the driveway of a house.
The rider, a 22 year old man from Baldivis, was not wearing a helmet or protective clothing at the time.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
