The annual Augusta River Festival will once again hit the banks of the Blackwood River this Sunday March 5, with an impressive list of family friendly fun, live music and local wares at market stalls scheduled for the event.
The family-friendly vibe of the Augusta River Festival is suitable for all ages, with plenty of families making use of the picnic space on the banks of the Blackwood.
A rock wall, food stalls, Augusta mini golf and trampolines, farm animals, a bucking bull, bouncy castle and face painting are all on offer alongside a huge program of children’s activities.
GWN’s Doopa Dog will make appearances throughout the day and show bags will be available for purchase.
Live music fans are in for a treat with sets from Michelle Spriggs and Kevin McDonald, Tom Day and Rhodesia, as well as the much loved sounds of Doxy and the Dave Mann Collective.
As the sun goes down, South West legends Beeva Feeva and The Brow take to the stage before the fireworks finale lights up the shoreline to close the festival.
The 2017 Augusta River Festival is on Sunday March 5 on the Blackwood River Foreshore (near the Colourpatch Cafe).
$3 Entry to the smoke free event (under 5s free), no dogs or BYO. Fun starts at 9am and concludes with a fireworks display at around 8pm.
