Students at Karridale Primary School enjoyed two days of sports carnival fun this week, as they took part in the school’s annual athletics competition.
Two new factions, The Boomers and The Emus, debuted at the carnival.
Principal Fiona Cormack said the unexpected wet weather did little to deter the kids from their activities.
“Despite Day Two being rather wet, it didn’t dampen the spirits of competitors and spectators,” Ms Cormack said.
“The Karridale School community always enjoys the Sports Days, and this year was no exception.”
After two days of competition, The Boomers ended the carnival on 481 points to The Emus’ 360 points.
