Peel Thunder will celebrate its 20th year playing in the West Australian Football League this Thursday.
More than 5700 fans watched the Thunder debut against South Fremantle on Sunday, March 30, 1997 and fittingly, Peel will host the same football club in round three of the 2017 season this weekend.
Some of their heroes are no longer with us, but each player, coach, volunteer or committee members has contributed to the club in some way.
The Mandurah Mail congratulates Peel Thunder on this big milestone.
