The Margaret River Playgroup at the Community Resource Centre will open its doors next week for an annual open day celebration.
Run by local families for local families, the Playgroup will welcome parents and children from the area to experience the community-led program for themselves.
Spokesperson Sophie Broom said the Playgroup was a good place for young children to develop their skills interacting with other kids.
“We feel this is a great place for young children to play, enabling them to develop social skills and make new friends,: she said.
“It’s also the perfect place for mums and dads to help themselves with a supportive network of friendly faces and get a hot cup of tea!”
The Playgroup holds two sessions a week, on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am and the first two sessions are free to new members.
The Margaret River Playgroup Open Day will be held on Friday April 28 from 9.30am to 11.30am at the Margaret River Community Resource Centre on Tunbridge Street.
