A woman working in a fish and chips shop was holding her baby when confronted by a teenager allegedly intent on robbing the shop, police say.
A teenager has been charged with aggravated armed robbery. It will be alleged the man entered the Atwell premises brandishing a knife at around 3.30pm on May 17.
Police released confronting footage of the man attempting to violently kick a door leading to behind the counter.
The female shop attendant was forced to let him behind the counter, where he stole money from the till and then fled from the store.
Police released CCTV footage from the robbery on Wednesday in the hopes of identifying the suspect, and a 18-year-old man from Success was later arrested.
He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday.
